One week after beating Panathinaikos, Barcelona made one more decisive step towards the second spot of the final standings in Group E, which also equals home court advantage in the play offs, by prevailing over Maccabi Tel Aviv (89-71).

The Catalans controlled the game from start (26-16 in the first quarter) to finish, shooting an incredible 71% in two point shots. Despite missing injured Alex Abrines, Barcelona had a balanced team effort led by Ante Tomic (16 p., 12 r., 6 as.) who didn’t miss a shot all night (4/4 2p., 8/8 FT).

Barcelona has now a 7-3 record, while Maccabi is left at 6-4 and lost also the tie breaking advantage, having won by two points in Tel Aviv.
