Playing without Tarense Kinsey and Trey Thompkins who was on the bench, but injured, Nizhny Novgorod seemed to be an easy prey. The Russians once more didn’t surrender, but in the end Anadolu Efes got the 79-75 win.
With five seconds left on the clock, Nizhny’s Gal Mekel with a three made it a three points game (78-75), but couldn’t do much more. The hosts had a double digits lead for most of the second half, but relaxed dangerously in the last minutes. Milko Bjelica with 15 points was the leader of the winners and Thomas Heurtel had a full stats line with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Artsiom Parakhouski scored 22 points for the losing side.
