Olympiacos (21-1) is still the leader in the Greek league, fifth placed AEK (13-9) is rising after beating fourth Aris (14-8), PAOK is third (15-7), but the win of second Panathinaikos (20-2) on the road over Panionios on Monday is the result which will be remembered. Panionios, one of the most traditional teams of the top Greek league is mathematically relegated after this defeat, being last in the standings with a 3-19 record.
