EWE Oldenburg is the big winner of the 2015 German Cup. After beating Bonn in the semifinal (77-71), Oldenburg prevailed in the final over the favorite, Brose Baskets, by two points (72-70).
In a close game from start to finish, Dawan Robinson had the last shot and the chance to win the game, but couldn’t make a buzzer beater three pointer. In total seven players from the winning side scored at least 8 points with Casper Ware being the best among equals with 13 points and 6 assists. Bradley Wanamaker once more was the top scorer of Brose Baskets, like in the semifinal against Alba, by scoring 19 points.
