Vasilis Spanoulis returned to action but Olympiacos was far from hot and Barcelona got the 73-57 win with ease. The hosts controled the boards with 44 rebounds – 15 of them offensive – against 27 and that was enough for the 1-0 in their Euroleague playoffs series.

All 12 players of the guests scored, but Agravanis with just 9 points was the top scorer.  The situation wasn’t much better for the hosts, however they had 10/21 threes and this numbers combined with the extra touches because of the offensive rebounds made the difference. Bostjan Nachbar and Juan Carlos Navarro with 10 points each were the top scorers of the contest.

Spanoulis played in total 11 minutes, had one point, 0/4 shots, one rebound and two turnovers, after missing one month of action. Without him in decent shape, Olympiacos has very few chances of being really competitive. Τhe bad news for Barcelona came from Brad Oleson’s ankle injury at the end of the game.
