Panathinaikos had the lead for the first seven minutes of the game. After that CSKA Moscow just couldn’t be denied on the way to the 2-0 advantage in the Euroleague play offs series against the Greens with a 100-80 win.

Andrei Kirilenko (16 p.), Nando De Colo (16 p.) and Sonny Weems (20 p.) on the second half took turns into torching the defense of the guests, as the Russians need just one more win in order to secure a spot in Madrid’s Final Four. After the first two games the gap of quality between the two teams is more than obvious and at this point only Panathinaikos‘ pride can push the Greens at home to do something they were not able to on the road.

CSKA was better in every aspect of the game, had better numbers everywhere and dominated the court with ease. The only bright spot for the Greens was the good game of young prospect Vasilis Charalampopoulos who had 14 points while shooting 100%.
