Cantu got a crucial win in the race for the playoffs of Legabasket against EA7 Milano. In a rescheduled game from the 21st week the hosts beat the league leaders EA7 Milano almost by 20 points (83-64).
Metta World Peace added 13 points for the winners, however the game was a family affair, as Stefano Gentile scored 20 for Cantu and his brother, EA7 Milano’s captain Alessandro Gentile had an off night with 5 points on 2/11 shots. Joe Ragland with 15 points was the top scorer for Milan which still is on top of the standings (23-3) with four wins lead. Cantu with a 12-14 record is tied at the 7th spot with Cremona.
