Once again Tyrese Rice was amazing and Khimki got to the VTB semifinals with a sweep over Avtodor, while Zenit beat Nizhny Novgorod (83-76) and tied their quarterfinals series at 2-2.
Dimitriy Kulagin had 22 points for Zenit which forced a game 5 against the surprise team of this year’s Euroleague. On the contrary the leader of Khimki, Tyrese Rice, couldn’t be denied with 27 points. The final score was 89-87, but the game was not decided on the last shot, as Rice gave to Khimki a 5 points lead (89-84) in the last seconds and Avtodor just cut the final points difference to two.
