The hosts got the win on Thursday in Turkish TBL as Fenerbahce/ Ulker prevailed over Galatasaray and Karsiyaka did the same against Banvit in Game 1 of the playoffs.
Fenerbahce/ Ulker in its first game after the Euroleague final four destroyed Galatasaray by getting the 93-67 win. Bogdan Bogdanovic with 15 points led the charge against a team which is still trying to get over its injury and financial woes. For Karsiyaka things were not that easy, but as the final 87-79 with Juan Palacios scoring 19 points indicates, the hosts had the game under control and led for most of the time.
