CSKA Moscow defeated Nizhny Novgorod at home (97-77) in Game 2 of the playoff semifinals. The “army team” ‘s 29-17 advantage in the second quarter was the key to victory and to the 2-0 lead.
Nizhny tried to get back into the game in the second half but couldn’t do much. Sonny Weems with 20 points was the top scorer of the winners who need one more win in order to get to the VTB league finals.
