Andrew Goudelock missed the last shot of the game and Karsiyaka got the 97-96 break in Istanbul over Fenerbahce/ Ulker. The game was decided in overtime and Bobby Dixon with two free throws gave the win to the guests.

Dixon was the star of the game, scoring in total 27 points as the semifinals series in TBL started with a bang in Game 1. Melih Mahmutoglu got a big three before Dixon’s free throws (96-95) with 8 seconds to go in overtime, the refs called a foul away from the ball in favor of Dixon just one second after that and in the end Goudelock couldn’t be the hero this time.

Jan Vesely had 14 points and with a tip in almost at the buzzer send the game to overtime (85-85). In total Goudelock had 25 points and for Karsiyaka Juan Palacios scored 22. It will be interesting to see the reaction of Fenerbahce, which finished first in the regular season and also the way Karsiyaka will defend the 1-0 advantage.
