The semifinals series between Venezia and Reggio Emilia started with the hosts getting a comfortable 87-70 win. Croatian forward Hrvoje Peric had 20 points for the winners and Phil Goss added 18.
The two teams were tied at 38 after the first half, but in the second the partial score was 49-32 for the hosts who shot much better, specially in threes, having 9/20 against 6/16 of the guests.
