David Logan was not in his best night, but with the score being tied at 73 he made the biggest three of the game. Sassari got a 76-73 lead, Gentile missed the next shot and in the end the hosts got the 84-76 win over EA7 Milano in the Legabasket semifinals.
Sassari now had a 2-1 wins lead over the defending champions who finished the regular season on top of the standings and need two more wins for the finals. Shane Lawal had 19 points and 9 rebounds, while Alessandro Gentile scored 27 points for the losing side.
