Olimpia Milano captured its second straight win in the Italian League by defeating Enel Brindisi 74 – 77 on the road in a clash between the fourth and fifth team in the standings. The winning squad improved to 13-7 while the hosts fell to 12-8.

Keifer Sykes scored 17 points while Kaleb Tarcewski finished with 16 points and eight rebounds for Milano. Nemanja Nedovic added 14 points and Sergio Rodriguez 13, including key free throws for the 72 – 75 and 74 – 77.

After Rodriguez scored the latter pair from the line, Adrian Banks took the game-tying attempt for Brindisi but his 3-pointer went off target. He finished with 17 points while Tyler Stone notched 21 points and nine rebounds.

Brindisi was up 36 – 32 at the beginning of the second half when Milano unleashed its offense to win the third period 15 – 24. The “Red Shoes” went ahead 56 – 65 in the mid of the fourth period until their opponents made their own comeback attempt, albeit one that wasn’t completed.
