The Italian Olympic Committee decided to completely stop all team sports activities until April 3, however, that isn’t valid for international competitions which are expected to be played behind closed doors

The Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) unanimously reached a decision to stop all team sports activities, at all levels, until April 3.

The Italian government initially ruled a decree that all sporting events in Italy will only be played behind closed doors. However, CONI now decided to completely suspend team sports and asked for the government to issue a special Prime Ministerial Decree that will exceed the current valid one.

CONI also noted that they do not have the ability to do anything about the international competitions (EuroLeague, EuroCup, Basketball Champions League, etc.) but except the games which include Italian teams to be played behind closed doors.
