Pesaro announced on Twitter that two members of the club have been found positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). The Italian team doesn’t clarify the specific role of the two members within the club.

“The club is working to take all necessary measures following the directions of the health authorities,” Pesaro also mentioned. Pesaro competes in the Italian Serie A First Division League.

On Tuesday, March 10, Pesaro announced that American forward Zach Thomas parted ways with the club after he requested to leave the team in order to return to USA over coronavirus concerns.

The Italian League has suspended all games for two weeks. Italy, the most-affected European country by the coronavirus epidemic, has been under lockdown.
