Virtus Bologna cruised past Pesaro with an 83-66 victory, but Luca Banchi couldn’t be completely happy as Ognjen Dobric suffered an injury with four minutes left on the clock.
He landed awkwardly and had to be carried out by the staff, displaying a painful facial expression.
“The outcome of the match is negative because we have to register another injury in such an emergency situation. It becomes really difficult to present ourselves for a series of matches so close together,” Banchi said.

As for the match, Tornike Shengelia dominated with 22 points, while Achile Polonara was on the verge of a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Marco Belinelli added 10 points, while Ognjen Dobric scored nine before the injury occurred.
Leonardo Tote led Pesaro with 16 points and 10 boards, while Trevon Bluiett added 15 points. Andrea Cincarini was near a triple-double with 11 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds, and Riccardo Visconti added 10 points.
Virtus is now third in the standings with a score of 10-4, while Pesaro fell to 5-9.
