As Treviglio got eliminated in the Italian second division Playoffs by Fortitudo Bologna, Bruno Cerella’s career came to an end at 37 years of age.

The Argentinian forward, who arrived in Italy in 2004 and never played a single minute with a non-Italian team during his 19-year professional career, played a total of 54 games in the EuroLeague with Milano, mostly coming off the bench.

“Forever one of us”, the Italian team celebrated the 37-year-old forward. He stayed with the red-and-white powerhouse from 2013 to 2017, before spending five years with Reyer Venice, where he also played in the EuroCup.

Throughout his long career, which was concluded with a shot from half-court, he won three Italian championships, three Italian Cups, one Italian Supercup, and one FIBA Europe Cup.
