After their loss to Virtus in Bologna, which eliminated them from EuroLeague postseason contention, Ettore Messina’s team continues to struggle in domestic competition as well.

In Round 25 of the Italian Championship, Olimpia Milano fell on the road against Reggiana, with the final score being 87-78 in favor of the BCL Quarterfinalist.

Jaylen Barford had a great game for the winning side with 22 points, while Cassius Winston followed with 20. Former NBA player Kenneth Faried was nearly a double-double contributor with 11 points and nine rebounds, while Jamar Smith also added 11 points. Mouhamed Faye finished just one rebound short of a double-double, scoring 10 points.

As for Milano, which has now suffered its fifth straight defeat across both competitions, Armoni Brooks led the way with 20 points and six rebounds, while Nikola Mirotić followed with 19 points and five boards. Stefano Tonut was the only other player in double digits, scoring 14.
