After a perfect Euroleague double round, the Bologna team couldn’t make it three in a row

After a perfect double-round week in the Euroleague, Virtus Bologna had the chance to make it a perfect 3/3 but Vanoli Cremona stole the show.

It was a one-team show at Virtus Arena, as the guests dominated the game to get an easy win (86-69) despite a good start from the home team.

The 23-19 on the scoreboard after the first ten minutes was the only time Virtus Bologna had the lead: after that, it was all about Vanoli Cremona. Thanks to a 22-7 second quarter, the away team manager to take control of the game.

Things were looking good for them at halftime and even better after the third quarter: the 32-20 for the guests gave Cremona a lead (73-50) they managed to keep.

Despite a great start of the fourth quarter, which included a 17-5 run, Virtus Bologna had no time left to pull of the comeback

Aljhami Durham led Vanoli Cremona with 17 points.

Karim Jallow was Virtus Bologna top scorer with just 9 points.
