Trento, Cremona, Avellino and the hosts of the tournament, Milano, are the winners of the quarterfinals in the Italian cup final eight. It was a thrilling first day, mainly thanks to Cremona.

Playing against the winner of the last two Italian cups, the defending Italian champions Dinamo Sassari, Cremona forced overtime thanks to a big three by Nicolo Cazzolato and eventually got the win. David Logan scored 29 points for the losing side, but it was not enough.

EA7 Milano had the easiest task of the day, dominating in the last game against Umana Venezia and getting the win by 29 points.
