Round 20 of the Legabasket concluded this Sunday with wins for the two main title favorites.
Virtus Bologna secured a 90–86 victory in their clash with Udine.
Carsen Edwards, with 22 points, was the game’s top scorer, edging out Eidmantas Benzius by just one point.
Although the home team built a 20-point lead in the second quarter, the game became much tighter after halftime. In the final quarter, the visitors mounted a strong comeback and tied the game at 78.
However, the hosts managed to hold on and claim the win, which keeps them as the sole leaders of the Italian league.
Olimpia Milano had a much easier time securing their victory. Poeta’s team had little trouble defeating Cremona 67–86, with 21 points from Armoni Brooks.
