Virtus Bologna and Derthona Basket complete the semifinals bracket in the Italian Cup.
In a tight first half, Napoli Basket showed its best form against the Euroleague team, dominating Ivanovic’s squad (18-35) before the break.
Virtus increased the pace in the third quarter (30-19) to complete the comeback and get the win (83-73) and advance to the semifinals. Carsen Edwards (24 p.) and Derrick Alston (16 p.) dominated the fourth quarter for Ivanovic’s team.
Derthona Basket advanced to the semifinals after beating Reyer Venezia (87-95) in a tough game. Derthona got the win against the Eurocup team and will face Virtus in the next round.
Hubb (17 p.) and Baldasso (18 p.) were the top scorers for the Tortona team. In Venezia, only Cole had a great game, scoring 26 points.
