EA7 Emporio Armani Milano fended off a late comeback attempt from Acqua S. Bernardo Cantù in a tense Lombardy derby, managing to stay ahead at key moments after seeing its earlier double-digit lead trimmed in the second half.
Milano eventually secured an 88–86 victory, improving to 15–5 in the Lega Basket standings.
Giampaolo Ricci led the winners with 22 points, while Shavon Shields added 16. Leandro Bolmaro finished with 15 points, and Zach LeDay contributed 14.
Cantù stayed within reach thanks to Oumar Ballo, who posted a 21-point, 12-rebound double-double, while Erick Green and Xavier Sneed scored 15 points each. Green had a chance to win the game in the closing seconds, but his attempt only hit the rim.
