Trento pulls off a surprise in Bologna (84-87) and ties the playoff quarter-final series against Virtus.
Matt Morgan (17 points) was the top scorer for Virtus Bologna. Luca Vildoza added 11. Derrick Alston did not play. In Trento, a great performance by Khalif Battle (22 p.) and DJ Steward (18 p.) led to the victory.
After a completely even first half (47-47), Virtus struggled with Trento’s pace. The visiting team started scoring from beyond the arc and led with two minutes remaining (77-80).
Carsen Edwards appeared in the final seconds to try and complete the comeback, but Trento took the big win on the road (84-87) to tie the series up 1-1.
