What’s his goal according to this report by local site “Il Canturino”? “I want to bring back coach Andrea Trinchieri. Of course he would have to want it too”. Trinchieri was the man on the bench of the team between 2009 and 2013, when Cantu became relevant on the big scene of Italy again.
However the Italian coach is currently the defending champion of Germany with Brose Baskets, had a great season in the Euroleague and a return to Cantu may not be alluring to him.
