AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milano defeated Virtus Bologna on the road 73 – 67. Simone Pianigini’s men jumped to a 16-5 record and remain at the top.

The visiting side started strong winning 22 – 11 the first quarter. If it was not enough, an 8-0 run beginning the second almost decided the game. Bologna tried to react in the second half (54 – 47) with Marcus Slaughter (17 points and 7 rebounds) doing damage in the paint.

Milan’s advantage was close to double-digits in the fourth quarter and escaped with the victory. Big men Kaleb Tarczewski (10 points and 8 boards) and Arturas Gudaitis (12 points) led the guests to the victory.

Meanwhile, Reyer Venezia got the road win in Torino 90 – 82 and also registered its 16th win. Michael Jenkins had 15 points and 6 assists for the Italian champs.
