Dolomiti Energia Trentino defeated Reyer Venezia 81-63 in Game 2 of the Italian League semifinals, and currently, lead the series 2-1.

The game was decided in the final period. After three quarters, Trento had a two-point lead (58-56) and the last ten minutes would decide the contest. With an impressive 12-0 run to start the fourth quarter, the home side went up by double-digits (70-56) and never looked back. Venezia did not have an answer for Dominique Sutton and Shavon Shields, and so this run was the key to the outcome of the contest.

The hosts played tough defense, not allowing Venezia to shoot well from the perimeter (6/23 3FG), while they (Trento) had four players in double-digits. Sutton put up 18 points, Shields added 16 and Dustin Hogue (10p. / 10r.), and Joao Gomes (11p. / 10 r.) added double-doubles.

For Venezia, Hrvoje Perić scored 13 points.
