Aleksa Avramovic put on a strong performance and led Varese past Pesaro in the last game of Italian League this year.

Varese didn’t allow Pesaro to take the lead during all forty minutes and recorded a 98-78 road win on Day 13 of Italian League.

Aleksa Avramovic led the winning charge with game-high 23 points (3/3 from deep) and seven rebounds while Ronald Moore added 16 points. On the other side, Erik McCree scored 22 in addition to Dominic Artis’ 13 points.

Varese was ahead 49-42 at halftime but it was in the third quarter that they broke Pesaro reaching the 20-point mark (77-57). They kept going in the final period and secured the game.

Milano suffered their first loss of the season against Avellino but are still alone at the top with a 12-1 record while Avellino is behind with 9-4 as well as Varese, Venezia and Cremona. Pesaro stands at 4-9 along with Torino, Cantu and Reggio Emilia.
