Croatia and Lithuania get wins, Germany-Senegal canceled due to PCR positives

Croatia and Lithuania logged new wins in prep games with the latter being quite convincing while Germany had to skip their skirmish against Senegal

The national teams continue their preparations for the Olympic Qualifying Tournaments and two hosting teams in Croatia and Lithuania logged wins over Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.

Croatia got a 72-66 victory led by Ante Zizic who scored 18 points followed by Bojan Bogdanovic with 12 and Roko Leni Ukic with 11 points. Bogdanovic and Ukic dished out five assists each as well.

Miro Bilan added ten points while, on the opposing side, George Conditt scored 18 and Isaiah Pineiro.

Meanwhile, Tomas Dimsa and Lukas Lekavicius with 13 points each led Lithuania to a convincing 95-69 win over the Dominicans. Jonas Valanciunas helped with 12 and Rokas Jokubaitis with 11 points.

On the losing team, Jhonatan Araujo had 15 and Adonis Nunez ten points.

Another clash was supposed to be played tonight, between Germany and Senegal, however, the latter’s testing showed positive PCR results and the game was canceled, per the announcement of the German Basketball Federation.
