It was reported from last week and now it’s official. Igor Stefan Kokoskov is the new coach of the Slovenian national team.
Kokoskov who is also an assistant coach for the Utah Jazz left the bench of the Georgian national team for Slovenia where he will replace national basketball icon Jure Zdvoc. As for Georgia, the new coach is expected to be Greek Ilias Zouros. Kokoskov has been also a member of the Serbian national team coaching stuff and also an assistant with the Los Angeles Clippers, the Detroit Pistons, the Phoenix Suns, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Orlando Magic.
