According to “Mundo Deportivo“, Navarro will be part of the national team and probably this is going to be his last major tournament.
Navarro wants to break this summer the record of games played with the Spanish team, held by Juan Antonio San Epifanio with 239 games. The current captain of Barcelona has already played 237 games with the national team and needs just three more games in order to be the first in the all time list.
On the contrary, Real Madrid‘s captain Felipe Reyes announced that he is going to rest this summer, missing his first national team major tournament after the 2013 Eurobasket.
