As the U20 European championship was concluded on Sunday night, we take a look at its most efficient players.

Vasilis Charalampopoulos, the tournament MVP, led the host nation to the title against Israel with a an impressive performance of 10 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks, while overly averaging 14.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4 assists this summer in Crete.

The Panathinaikos player and possible future draft prospect was joined in the All-Star Five selection by Greece’s Antonis Koniaris, who had an average of 11.4 points and even hit 54% of his 3-pointers, even during crucial moments throughout the tournament.

Israel’s Tamir Blatt was also named in the Best Five. He scored 10 points and dished 7 assists in the final, while he averaged 16 points and 10.1 assists for the prior unbeaten Israelis.

French power forward Amine Noua was next in the selection, with an average of 12.9 points and 7.9 rebounds.

Icelandic center Tryggvi Hlinason, who joined Valencia this summer, led his team to the quarterfinals for the first time in history with his averages of 16.1 points, 11.6 rebounds and 3.1 blocks.

Apart from the All-Star Five, Philadelphia 76ersFurkan Korkmaz‘s Turkey may have finished 9th, yet the player had a solid 12.8 points, 4.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds average.

Finally, Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk of Ukraine led the tournament statistics in points scored, with an average of 20.4 per game, along with 6.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists.
