Henrik Dettmann was agitated with Barcelona’s decision to let Sasha Vezenkov play for Bulgaria, but not Petteri Koponen.

Dettmann commented: “Very cowardly, very unsportsmanlike. It does not show any kind of morality. Our player is held hostage in Spain, and the Spanish law, in fact, requires players to join the national teams. ”

“It’s a very cowardly act. Unfortunately, it does not give a very good picture of the sporting spirit, which is at least a big disappointment for me because Barcelona and all the people there have been a great example of what sport is. In this case, they belittled themselves”, said the Finnish coach.
