Kobe Bryant will be first-ballot enshrinement into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2020, HOF Charmain Jerry Colangelo announced, per Shams Charania.
Colangelo also noted that this could be the most epic class yet as it also includes Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett: “Expected to be arguably the most epic class ever with Kobe, Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett. Kobe will be honored the way he should be.”
The five-time NBA champion was killed in a helicopter crash that took place in the city of Calabasas in California Sunday (26/1) morning.
