Lithuanian basketball legend Arvydas Sabonis signed with an NBA team relatively late in his career at 30 years old, but still made a lot of noise during his stint with the Portland Trail Blazers.
Well, apparently, “Sabas” didn’t leave an impression just with his ingenious all-around and diverse game but also with the way he dressed. At least according to one of his most famous and decorated teammates.
“Arvydas Sabonis was the best-dressed,” six-time NBA champion Scottie Pippen said during a Q&A video session with the Blazers. [He] Always came with the Euro style and some kind of fresh fragrance. Arvydas… gets the fashion,”

Pippen was Sabonis’ teammate for three seasons, from 1999 to 2001 and then 2002 to 2003 when the Lithuanian big man briefly returned to the league following a one-year stint with Zalgiris Kaunas.
