Earlier on Thursday, reports coming from CNBC mentioned that several NBA team executives and agents are pushing for a season cancellation.
LeBron denied the reports and commented the following on his twitter account:
“Saw some reports about execs and agents wanting to cancel season? That’s absolutely not true. Nobody I know saying anything like that. As soon as it’s safe we would like to finish our season. I’m ready and our team is ready. Nobody should be canceling anything”, he wrote.
There is still no ultimate decision by the NBA, whose facilities plan to open after May 8, while a season cancellation seems to be the last resort if all other plans fail.
