Sacramento Kings guard Bogdan Bogdanovic said that succeeding in the resumption of the NBA season will require a certain amount of mental strength due to the complex aspects of playing in the bubble in Orlando.
“This is pretty much a mental game and we all have to be locked in from the beginning. From every single practice, the short period of time is like a tournament system so everyone can win. You can expect everyone to win so that’s what it’s all about,” Bogdanovic said per The Athletic.
Bogdanovic had previously compared playing the remainder of the 2019-2020 NBA season to competing in a FIBA tournament.
The Kings have already been practicing in Orlando, Florida where the NBA will resume on July 30. Bogdanovic’s Kings will face heavy competition in a Western Conference packed with strong teams.
Before the season was suspended on March, Bogdanovic was averaging 14.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists.
