Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Billy Donovan announced on Monday that Dennis Schroder has left the NBA bubble in Orlando. His intention was recently revealed and accepted by his team as he and his wife are expecting their second child.
The German point guard helped the Thunder resume their 2019-20 season with a win against the Utah Jazz. He posted 13 points, two assists, two rebounds, and one steal in 22 minutes on Saturday.
Upon returning to the Orlando bubble, he will be quarantined and tested for coronavirus to be cleared to return to action.
Without Schroder, the Thunder will move on facing the Denver Nuggets on Monday. Next up the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday and the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday.
