The Orlando Magic advised Mo Bamba to depart from the NBA bubble set up in Orlando to undergo comprehensive post-coronavirus evaluation, per official medical update.
The 22-year-old center, Texas alum, was found positive for coronavirus in mid-June. He joined the Magic for the resumption of the 2019-20 season but conditioning issues limited him to a couple of brief appearances over the eight seeding games.
The Magic do not expect him back for the playoffs that are scheduled to start next week and will feature the Orlando organization opposite to the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round.
