Rajon Rondo is ready to clear quarantine Monday, though as LA Lakers coach Frank Vogel told reporters Sunday, his return to action is still unclear. The Lakers take on Portland Trail Blazers for Game 1 of the playoffs on Wednesday.

Rondo will begin on-court work on Monday and the team will evaluate him from there. The experienced guard broke his thumb during practice in Orlando the re-start and the initial timeline for his return was six to eight weeks.

The 34-year-old guard has posted an average of 7.1 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists in 48 games during the regular season.
