Will Barton exited the NBA bubble set up in Orlando seeking a second opinion on his right knee, per the Denver Post.
The 29-year-old guard averaging 15.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.1 steals per game prior to the hiatus has been sidelined since the scrimmages before the eight seeding games. His knee has worsened since leading him to leave the bubble.
Despite missing his scoring punch, the Nuggets are up 1-0 in the best-of-seven first-round series opposite to the Utah Jazz. Game 2 is scheduled to begin later Wednesday (10:00 PM CET).
