In what turned out to be an easy game for the Utah Jazz, the duel of the European centers stole the show.

By the numbers, Serb Nikola Jokic with 28 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists was better, but French Rudy Gobert and the Jazz after a competitive first quarter cruised to the 124-105 win and tied the series at 1-1.

Gobert scored 19 points, grabbed seven rebounds and registered two blocks, including an emphatic one against Jokic, as a very interesting rivalry is forming.

However, the Jazz also had many more weapons with Donovan Mitchell scoring 30, Jordan Clarkson adding 26 from the bench and Joe Ingles also scoring 18.

Utah dominated the third period which had a partial 43-29 score and the game was over.

Michael Porter junior also added 28 points for Denver, but in total, the Nuggets simply couldn’t keep up with Jamal Murray being held to 14 points.
