Kawhi Leonard came one assist away from the triple-double by finishing with 30 points, 11 rebounds and nine dimes as the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Denver Nuggets 96 – 85 in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals to take a 3-1 lead.

Nikola Jokic had 26 points, 11 assists and six rebounds for the Nuggets that fell behind 69  – 53 near the end of the third period after coming back from down 18 to tie the score 48 – 48. The Clippers remained safe, leading by up to 19 in the fourth period, to come one win far from their first Conference finals appearance ever.

Ivica Zubac contributed 11 points and nine rebounds to the Clippers. Jamal Murray added 18 points and seven assists for the Nuggets that will play their first “win-or-go-home” game in the series Friday (11/9).
