The free agency frenzy has been decided to start shortly after the NBA draft, on November 20

The NBA and NBPA have reached an agreement in principle on the start of the 2020-21 season, as well as an amended collective bargaining agreement and the NBA free agency will begin on the evening of Friday, November 20, with signings allowed at 12:01 PM on November 22. according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The final details on the schedule for the season are still being worked out, though will host the 2020 NBA Draft on Wednesday, November 18, leaving very little time between the end of the draft and the beginning of free agency.

Per ESPN, “the salary cap is going to be set at $109.1 million, and the luxury tax will be $132.6 million — the same numbers they were during the 2019-20 season, before the league’s finances took a drastic hit as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic”. 

Among the hottest European names on the free agency list is Bogdan Bogdanovic, with Danilo Gallinari and 2020 NBA finalist Goran Dragic.

Joe Harris, Rajon Rondo, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Gerami Grant, Davis Bertans, Paul Milsap, Marc Gasoc and Serge Ibaka are just a few more names that complete the free agency list.

Of course, the hottest name on the list Is that of Anthony Davis, but all signs point to him re-signing with the 2020 NBA champions Los Angeles Lakers.
