Nikola Jokic teased a triple-double as the Denver Nuggets downed Portland Trail Blazers 126-95 on Wednesday evening as the preseason continues. Jokic posted 12 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists in 25 minutes, while Paul Milsap was the leading scorer for the Nuggets with 18 points. Facu Campazzo came off the bench and spent 9 minutes on the court, during which he handed out 3 assists.
On the Trail Blazers‘ side, Enes Kanter came off the bench to add 14 points, as Jusuf Nurkic tapped 7 points and 8 rebounds.
Kyle Kuzma paced defending champions Los Angeles Lakers to a narrow 112-107 victory over Phoenix Suns. The forward tapped a game-high of 23 points, as LeBron James posted 11 points. Dennis Schroder and Kostas Antetokounmpo tapped 7 and 2 points respectively for the winning side, the latter coming off the bench. DeAndre Ayton paced the Suns with 21 points.
Coby White’s 27-point evening led Chicago Bulls to a 124-103 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Zach LaVine followed White’s lead with 24 points and Lauri Markkanen contributed 11 points and 9 rebounds.
Julius Randle paced the New York Knicks to a 100-93 victory over Cleveland Cavaliers with his 18-point performance standing out. RJ Barrett and Kevin Knox posted 16 points each for the winning side, while on the other end of the court Andre Drummond led the Cavs with a double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds.
