The NBA, in its latest coronavirus update, announced four new positive cases among players. No players were found positive the previous week.
Per the press release: “Of the 498 players tested for COVID-19 since Dec. 30, four new players have returned confirmed positive tests.
Anyone who has returned a confirmed positive test is isolated until they are cleared for leaving isolation under the rules established by the NBA and the Players Association in accordance with CDC guidance.”
Players found positive since initial return-to-market tests:
Nov. 24 – Dec. 1: 48
Dec. 2 – Dec. 10: 8
Dec. 10 – Dec. 17: 1
Dec. 17 – Dec. 24: 2
Dec.24 – Dec. 30: 0
Dec. 30 – Jan. 7: 4
