The Washington Wizards now have five players who have tested positive for coronavirus, per Shams Charania and Fred Katz of The Athletic. It remains unclear how many players have been affected by the contact tracing protocols.

The home game versus the Utah Jazz originally scheduled to take place Wednesday was postponed. The away game versus the Detroit Pistons previously planned to be held tonight, Friday, was postponed as well. It seems likely that the two home tilts against the Cleveland Cavaliers set for Sunday and Monday will be pushed back as well.

As previously announced by the Wizards, Rui Hachimura and Moritz Wagner were placed into the NBA’s health and safety protocols.
