Facundo Campazzo went for 14 points for the Denver Nuggets in the loss to the Washington Wizards, Wednesday. The hosts rarely left him any breathing room during his 25 minutes on the court coming off the bench. However, Garrison Mathews took it a step further.
The highlights shared by the Nuggets below include Mathews charging on Campazzo and spearing him to the ground. Despite the tackle similar to an NFL defensive effort, the Argentinian point guard connected his three-point attempt. If that wasn’t enough, the background actually called for an offensive foul.
Campazzo, 29, upping his game recently improved his averages to 4.9 points and 1.9 assists per match.
