This wasn’t the first time this season that the Jazz broke their club record for triples.

The Utah Jazz made 28 3-pointers in a win over the Charlotte Hornets to set a new all-time franchise record for most threes made in a single game. They made more than half of their shots from beyond the arc, since it took them 55 attempts for the new record.

This was the third time this year that the Jazz set a 3-point record and second time they did it against the Hornets. Earlier this month, Utah hit 26 triples to beat Charlotte 138 – 121 and break the previous record of 25 threes the team hit in a 131 – 118 road win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Former EuroLeague champion Joe Ingles was one of the main perpetrators in this new club achievement, draining 7-10 from beyond the arc. Georges Niang made all seven of his 3-point attempts, Jordan Clarkson had 5-10 and Mike Conley 4-9.

Curiously enough, famed shooter Bojan Bogdanovic didn’t contribute in this new shooting record, finishing with 0-4 3-pointers.
